April
This April, we’re leaning into a new monthly truth and our prayer is that this truth resonates not only with your teenager but you as well. We’re excited for all to come, but first, I wanted to take a moment to update you about our upcoming activities in the student ministry this April:
April 17 we will share the kindness rocks with our community.
Bible Study
Throughout March, our focus will revolve around the truth of being set apart by God. Have you ever felt like the odd one out? The one who may be a little out of place? In a world where everyone is trying to fit in, stay on trend, be like one another, and go with the flow, doing the opposite of the “norm” feels, well…odd. Standing out can feel strange, isolating, and even intimidating. However, God created us all to stand out from the culture around us—and that’s for a good purpose! All month long, we’ll walk through the truth of what it means to be set apart by God in order to reveal Him and His nature. As we uncover the truth about what it looks like to follow Jesus in our culture, we’ll see the beauty in being a light that shows the true Light of the world: Jesus.
Here are the key ideas we'll be exploring with the students:
Being influential comes from living like Jesus: Ephesians 4:17-31
Rules allow for relationships to thrive. Hebrews 12:5-11
With God, anything and everything can change. Esther 4:1-17
Christians are called to cultivate the culture around us. 1 Peter 2:4-12
Thank you for entrusting your teenagers to us, and for your continued support. We are excited about the month ahead and the opportunity to guide our students towards a deeper understanding of God's truth and love.
