Music Ministry at FBC

  • Our Sanctuary Choir leads worship each Sunday helping our church sing boldly and joyfully.

    They also present special services at Christmas, Easter, and other key moments throughout the year.

    If you love to sing and want to help lead others in worship, this is a place for you.

  • The Outreach Choir takes worship beyond our walls.

    They minister in nursing homes, to the homebound, and at community events — bringing encouragement and the hope of Christ through song.

    Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 10:00am.
    Open to anyone who loves music and wants to serve.

  • From Jubilee Bells and Grace Note Bells to Joyful Chimes and Student Bells, our handbell ministry adds beauty and depth to worship throughout the year.

    These groups regularly lead in services and participate in festivals and special events.

    If you’ve ever wanted to learn or return to handbells, there’s a place for you.

  • Our Praise Team serves alongside the choir to help lead our congregation in worship each week.

    This team is made up of individuals who love Jesus and desire to help others encounter Him.

    Rehearsals: Sundays at 6:00pm.

  • We believe worship starts early.

    WAM Kids helps children discover how to use their voices, creativity, and gifts to glorify God through singing, drama, and movement.

    They regularly help lead in worship and present a spring musical each year.

    Wednesdays | 6:00–6:45pm | September–May

    Praise Ringers (3rd–6th grade) meet Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

  • Our Orchestra and Praise Band help lead worship each Sunday, supporting the choir and congregation with a wide range of instruments and musical styles.

    From students to adults, beginners to experienced musicians — if you play, we’d love to talk with you.

Meet Our Pastor of Worship and Music

Alan Sledge

Alan has several degrees in music and has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has a heart for seeing people grow closer to God and we are beyond grateful that the Lord has lead him to FBC!
