Preschool Ministries
The Preschool ministry (Birth - Age 5) at First Baptist Church Mooresville is called God's Garden. In God's Garden, FBC Mooresville is dedicated to sowing seeds of faith in your preschooler's heart. Through preschool worship, Sunday School, and Wednesday night activities, your young child will hear over and over again the truths of God's Word and will experience Jesus' love for them.
We want to partner with parents in cultivating the seeds of truth that are planted in God's Garden.
Nursery is available during both worship services and during Sunday morning Bible studies.
Note that all leaders have undergone a background check.
Sunday’s
BIBLE STUDIES MEET AT 9:00 AM
On Sunday mornings our preschoolers use The Gospel Project. Preschoolers have a wonderful opportunity to learn about God's Word. During Sunday Bible studies, preschoolers hear a Bible lesson taught by a dedicated teacher, participate in games and crafts that reinforce that lesson, and get to see the familiar faces of their friends each week.
PRESCHOOL WORSHIP AT 10:00 AM.
During the worship time, our preschoolers are invited to stay in the nursery area. They will hear Bible Stories, sing songs, make crafts, and have playtime. Most importantly, our preschoolers get the opportunity to learn about Jesus and how Jesus loves them.

Through Bible teaching, worship, music, activities, and play, preschoolers hear the truths of God's Word and experience the love of Jesus in an environment designed just for them.
We believe some of the most important discipleship happens long before a child can read a Bible for themselves. That is why we want to partner with parents as we cultivate the seeds of truth being planted in God's Garden.

Preschool Bible Studies
Preschoolers learn God's Word through The Gospel Project. Dedicated teachers lead children through Bible lessons, games, crafts, and activities that reinforce the truth they are learning while helping them build relationships with friends and teachers.
Preschool Worship
During worship, preschoolers are invited to remain in our preschool area where they hear Bible stories, sing songs, create crafts, and enjoy playtime. Most importantly, they continue learning about Jesus and how deeply He loves them.

Our mission is to support families and extend the ministry of the church through a Christ-centered preschool environment.
At FBCM Weekday Preschool, children are loved, nurtured, and encouraged to grow. We create a safe, caring, and engaging atmosphere where children can explore, discover, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Through intentional play-based experiences and the love of Christ, we seek to nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Our goal is to partner with families as we build a strong foundation of faith, character, confidence, and learning that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.
A Place to Grow
FBCM Weekday Preschool serves children from 12 months through four years old with programs designed around each stage of early childhood development.
Mother’s Morning Out
A loving first preschool experience for our youngest children with age-appropriate play, exploration, and care.
Two-Year-Olds
Children begin developing independence, language, friendships, routines, and foundational learning skills through purposeful play.
Three-Year-Olds
Hands-on classroom experiences help children strengthen social skills, confidence, creativity, language, and early academic concepts.
Four-Year-Olds & T-K
Our four-year-old and Transitional Kindergarten programs provide focused preparation for a confident and successful transition into kindergarten.
Two- and three-year-old programs include two-day, three-day, and five-day scheduling options. Four-year-old classes are offered five days per week.
Learning Through Every Part of the Day
Children begin their day with center and exploration time, where imagination and curiosity come alive through home living, blocks, cars, reading, science, art, and other hands-on experiences.
Circle time introduces foundational concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and early literacy. Throughout the day, students also enjoy crafts, snacks, outdoor play, Bible lessons, and special enrichment opportunities.
Children ages two and older may also participate in Lunch Bunch, an optional extended-day opportunity to eat lunch with friends and enjoy additional activities and play.
ABC Jesus Loves Me
We believe children learn best through meaningful play, exploration, discovery, and intentional teaching.
FBCM Weekday Preschool uses ABC Jesus Loves Me, a comprehensive, research-based early childhood curriculum for ages one through five that brings together academics, development, and Bible learning through play.
Children are given opportunities to develop language and vocabulary, fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, decision-making, cooperation, responsibility, and respect for others.
Most importantly, biblical truth is woven into the preschool experience so children are learning not only about the world around them, but about the God who created them and loves them.
Preschool Is for Families Too
Some of the sweetest parts of the preschool year happen when our entire preschool family comes together.
Throughout the year, FBCM Weekday Preschool hosts special experiences and family-centered events including Special Centers, dances, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Prom, and other opportunities designed to create memories and strengthen community.
