Wednesday Night Dinner
Wednesday nights at First Baptist Church are designed for the whole church family to grow in Christ together. We kick everything off with a delicious dinner from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Wednesday Night Youth
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to join us on Wednesday nights for a time of Bible study, fellowship, and fun. Together we explore God’s Word, ask real questions, and encourage one another as we grow in our faith. It’s a great place for students to connect, learn, and build lasting friendships.
Basic Baptist Teachings
Join us for a Bible study exploring the basic teachings of the Baptist faith. Together we will look at what the Bible says about salvation, baptism, the church, and how we live as followers of Jesus. This study is a great opportunity for both new believers and longtime members to better understand the foundations of our faith.
Kids on Mission
Kids Choir begins at 6:00 PM and is for all kids grades 1-5. Kids enjoy singing, drama and movement in a combined choir as they learn more about worshipping God and celebrating different expressions of worship through "the arts."
Children’s Missions begins at 6:45 PM. The focus of Children’s Missions is to teach children about the ways missionaries tell people everywhere about God's love. Children also learn about the countries and cultures where missionaries serve.
Sanctuary Choir
Our Sanctuary Choir leads worship each Sunday helping our church sing boldly and joyfully. They also present special services at Christmas, Easter, and other key moments throughout the year.
If you love to sing and want to help lead others in worship, this is a place for you.

An Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group meets each Monday evening at 6:30 PM in Building C at First Baptist Church Mooresville. AA provides a supportive and confidential environment for individuals seeking freedom from alcohol addiction. All who desire help and encouragement on the journey toward recovery are welcome.

Handbell Concert & Pie Fellowship
Join us for a special evening of music and fellowship at First Baptist Church Mooresville!
Our Handbell Choir will present a beautiful concert filled with inspiring music that you won’t want to miss. After the concert, stay and enjoy a Pie Fellowship—featuring a variety of delicious homemade pies and a great time of connection with others.

Be in prayer as our youth and adults travel to Caswell. This is a week of worship and discipleship and we are praying that many hearts are transformed for Christ.
VBS
Join us for VBS 2026! At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world. Jesus is the LIGHT of the world!

Disaster Relief Training
NC Baptists on Mission Disaster Response Training is available to all believers who have a passion to serve others. Disaster response is a unique mission experience because of the sudden nature of the event, difficult conditions, and high expectations from other relief organizations and survivors. We hope you desire to serve God in this type of ministry and that you fulfill that desire through NC Baptists on Mission Disaster Response.
Please register for ONLY ONE area to be trained in. There isn't enough time to take more than one class.
Saturday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Cost is $40 per person
ALL TRAINING REGISTRATION closes on the Wednesday prior to each training weekend.
